Certification Categories

Two pathways to certification

After you submit the PCCPM Application Form, the ATMP Educational Board reviews each application and assigns one of two categories based on your background and experience.

Category 1

Experience Pathway

For professionals with 3 or more years of clinical project-management experience — CV-based evaluation, no examination required.

  • Background & experience review — scope and complexity of projects led across regulated environments.
  • Evidence of delivery leadership and the quality of your submitted professional statement.

Category 2

Examination Pathway

For early-career professionals or those moving into clinical project management — certification granted upon passing a qualifying online examination.

  • Qualifying online examination covering core project-management competencies — available year-round.
  • Results within two weeks; a pass mark is required to qualify for certification.

Complete the secure online application form and upload your CV. A €20 application evaluation fee applies — credited toward your certification fee on approval.

Board Review

The ATMP Educational Board reviews your application and assigns Category 1 or 2.

Assessment

Category 1: portfolio evaluation. Category 2: qualifying online examination.

Conditions & Fee

Sign the Certification Conditions Form and pay the applicable fee.

Certificate Awarded

Receive your PCCPM certificate and the right to use the postnominal title.
