Professional Certification in Public Health (PCPH)

Professional Certification in Public Health (PCPH) program is designed by the Academy of Translational Medicine Professionals (ATMP) to set the standards for excellence in the field of public health. Upon certification approval, successful individuals may use the postnominals ‘PCPH’

PCPH Accreditation

Professional Certification in Translational Medicine (PCPH) program is accredited by the European Society for Translational Medicine (EUSTM).

Eligibility

PCPH Program application is open to EUSTM members who are professionally involved and with experience in any of the bellow areas of public health:

  • Epidemiology & Clinical Research
  • Health Education & Promotion
  • Health Care Services/Policy
  • Infection & Vaccination
  • Environmental Health
  • Nutrition

Application Process:

EUSTM members must submit the online PCPH Application Form Those applicants who are not EUSTM member, please visit EUSTM Membership page and follow the process to become EUSTM member.

After submission, based on defined parameters, the ATMP educational board will assign one of the following categories:

Category 1

Applicants in this category will receive certification based on evaluation of their track records and experience without qualifying examination.

Category 2

Applicants under this category must successfully complete the qualifying examination in order to become eligible for PCPH certification. Qualifying examination is held once a year at occasion of Annual Congress of the European society for Translational Medicine.

PCPH Certification Fee

  • Annual Renewal fee: 400 US$
  • 200 US$ (low-income countries)

Successful applicants will need to submit the signed ‘Certification Condition Form’ and pay the annual certification fee before receiving the certificate.
