Sotirios Stergiopoulos, MD

Dr. Sotirios Stergiopoulos, MD graduated from Poznan University Medical School in 1999. Subsequently, he spent several years in clinical training including a Research Fellowship working on Cancer Genetics at the National Institutes of Health, Internal Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Clinical Genetics at Harvard Medical School. Sotirios has held clinical positions at Massachusetts General Hospital, Bringham and Womens and Dana Farber cancer Center as well as a current position as a Teaching Attending at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He then held various positions of increasing responsibility in medical affairs and clinical development at Bayer Pharmaceuticals and Novartis Pharmaceuticals. Sotirios has been elected to the Sigma Xi Research Society as well as the prestigious New York Academy of Medicine and Royal Society of Medicine (UK). He serves on several charity boards. He is currently completing Masters in Biotechnology at Johns Hopkins University (Entrepreneurship concentration).
