The EUSTM Consortium is a global initiative of the European Society for Translational Medicine for research groups, clinical departments and specialist centres — advancing the path from scientific discovery to patient care and community health.
The Consortium is built for active groups that want to contribute their expertise — helping them find relevant partners, share practical knowledge and develop joint activities.

Preferential Member Rates
Member discounts on eligible EUSTM Academy certifications, advisory services and the Centre of Excellence programme, plus member rates for congresses. Preferential rates apply to eligible services only and never affect eligibility, assessment, recognition or outcomes.
Recognition & Identity
An official EUSTM Consortium Membership Certificate and recognition as a member group of the EUSTM Consortium. The certificate confirms participation in the network — it is not an accreditation or a licence.
Industry Dialogue & Insights
Structured, transparently disclosed dialogue with EUSTM corporate members from industry — including talks on unmet needs, implementation barriers and responsible innovation. Participation is relevance-based and conflict-managed — never an endorsement, referral or procurement route. EUSTM does not sell access to its members and shares no member details without permission.
Presenting at EUSTM Conferences
Opportunities to present your group’s work at EUSTM international congresses and regional conferences — abstracts, posters and oral presentations — alongside presentations at Consortium sessions. Opportunities follow each event’s scientific programme and abstract review; membership does not guarantee a presentation slot.

Publications & Expert Contribution
- Consensus statements and position publications authored with contributing members.
- Consideration of member experts for EUSTM expert panels in their fields — subject to programme need, relevant expertise, independence and conflict-of-interest review. Membership does not guarantee appointment.
The programme evolves with its membership — each applicant group indicates the initiatives it wishes to offer and to join.
Membership Conditions
To maintain active Consortium membership, each member group must:
- Nominate the group leader, department chair or centre head as the group’s official Consortium representative.
- Complete the group’s profile and collaboration interests.
- Participate in Consortium meetings and activities.
- Keep the group’s information and collaboration interests current.
- Follow the EUSTM Code of Professional Conduct and applicable confidentiality and conflict-of-interest requirements.
EUSTM Regular Individual Membership is highly recommended for the nominated representative, but not a condition of Consortium approval.
How to Join
Submit the Application
Tell us about your group or department, its work and its collaboration interests. Have a short group profile and a photo of the group leader ready.
Eligibility Review
EUSTM reviews the group, its professional standing and its potential fit with the Consortium.
Membership Approval
Approved groups receive written confirmation, accept the membership conditions and complete their group profile for the Consortium member listing.
Consortium Inauguration
The EUSTM Consortium is formally inaugurated on 21 November 2026 — all approved member groups are part of it from launch, with the first Consortium sessions and workstream selection following.

Apply to Join the ConsortiumApplications are reviewed individually. EUSTM Regular Individual Membership is highly recommended for the nominated representative, though not a condition of approval.
EUSTM facilitates connections and professional discussions; membership does not guarantee partnerships, funding, projects or presentation slots at EUSTM conferences. Certification, advisory and Centre of Excellence services remain separate EUSTM products — members receive preferential rates, not automatic inclusion.
If a member group remains inactive or does not meet these conditions, EUSTM may suspend or withdraw its membership after providing reasonable notice. Membership does not renew automatically.
Membership remains active while the group meets the participation conditions.
Consortium membership identifies participation in a professional network. It does not create ownership, statutory governance, voting or permanent membership rights.
