For Hospitals, Universities & Research Institutes

The EUSTM Consortium

The EUSTM Consortium is the institutional membership of EUSTM — uniting hospitals, universities, and research institutes in a formal affiliation with a European scientific society: publishing benefits for their whole staff, shared knowledge, and international collaboration.

A Platform for Clinical & Translational Sciences.

Why Join

One consortium. Your whole institution connected.

Consortium membership is a formal, annual, institution-level membership that connects your organisation to a European scientific society and its worldwide network — and gives your entire staff access to EUSTM’s publishing, education, and collaboration benefits.

Whether you are a tertiary hospital, a university, a research institute, or a specialist centre, membership signals that your institution engages internationally, invests in its people, and belongs to a community advancing clinical and translational sciences.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions answered

Who can join the EUSTM Consortium?
Hospitals, universities, research institutes, and specialist clinical centres worldwide. Companies and industry organisations are served separately through EUSTM Corporate Membership.
Is Consortium membership an accreditation?
No. EUSTM Consortium membership is a professional membership category of EUSTM. It is not an accreditation, licence, or regulatory status, and it does not substitute for national or international hospital licensing or statutory accreditation. Institutions seeking an assessed quality designation can apply separately to the EUSTM Centre of Excellence Programme.
How do our staff use the publishing benefit?
Once membership is active, staff of member institutions receive a 40% discount on article processing charges and priority handling when submitting to any of the seven Official EUSTM Journals. Your welcome package explains how staff identify themselves as staff of a Consortium member institution. All submissions undergo the journals’ normal rigorous peer review — membership never influences editorial decisions.
What happens at renewal?
Membership runs for 12 months. We contact you before expiry with a renewal summary of what your institution used during the year — webinars attended, publications supported, and collaborations initiated — so the renewal decision is based on delivered value. There is no automatic charge.
