A new generation of professional certifications

Seventeen certifications and a Fellowship โ€” built for the roles that are reshaping healthcare, and for the professionals who hold them.

The EUSTM Academy has launched an expanded portfolio of professional certifications: seventeen credentials and the FAcadEUSTM Fellowship, spanning the full arc of modern healthcare — from translational medicine, clinical research, and regulatory affairs to real-world evidence, digital health, software as a medical device & AI, market access, and patient safety.

Why the portfolio was needed

Healthcare’s fastest-growing roles are also its youngest. Professionals leading real-world evidence programmes, health-data science teams, digital therapeutics, or post-market surveillance rarely have a recognised credential that matches what they actually do — a degree says what you studied, not what you practise. Employers, in turn, have no independent way to verify that expertise. The new portfolio closes that gap with field-specific, independently assessed professional designations.

What sets them apart

  • Independent assessment — every application is individually reviewed by the EUSTM Academy Educational Board.
  • Two pathways — an experience pathway for accomplished professionals and an examination pathway for rising ones.
  • A recognised postnominal — a credential you can carry on your name.
  • Fair, tiered fees — certification fees follow the World Bank country-income classification, and applying is free.
