Become part of a prestigious global society — apply for EUSTM committees & expert panels
Applications are open to serve on EUSTM’s dedicated committees and expert panels — voluntary roles for experts and experienced professionals who wish to contribute to an independent international society advancing clinical and translational medicine.

The European Society for Translational Medicine (EUSTM) invites experts and experienced professionals to apply for a place on its dedicated committees and expert panels. These are voluntary positions — an opportunity to contribute to the work of a respected global society and to help shape the future of clinical and translational medicine.
Founded in 2013, EUSTM is an independent, non-commercial professional society that unites healthcare, research, and industry to bring scientific discovery closer to the patients who need it. Its committees and expert panels bring together leading professionals from across the field to set educational and professional standards, shape scientific and clinical best practice, develop the society’s positions and consensus statements, and guide its scientific, advisory, and advocacy work worldwide.
Eligibility and Active Affiliation
EUSTM welcomes applications from experienced professionals across the clinical, scientific, academic and healthcare disciplines served by the Society.
Committee and expert-panel members are expected to:
- Demonstrate relevant professional qualifications, experience and subject-matter expertise.
- Maintain active EUSTM individual membership throughout their appointment.
- Hold an appropriate EUSTM Academy professional certification or complete the relevant certification pathway within the period specified in their appointment letter.
- Contribute actively to the agreed responsibilities of their committee or expert panel.
- Follow the EUSTM Code of Professional Conduct, confidentiality requirements and conflict-of-interest policy.
Applicants who are not already EUSTM members or certified professionals may apply without making a payment. Where an applicant is selected, the appointment may initially be offered on a provisional basis, allowing the individual to complete the membership and certification requirements after selection.
Membership demonstrates an active commitment to the Society and its mission. The EUSTM Academy certification pathway provides a consistent framework through which relevant professional knowledge and experience can be assessed.
Appointments are based on qualifications, experience, suitability and expected contribution. Payment of a membership or certification fee does not guarantee appointment or continued service.
