An Invitation to Serve

The European Society for Translational Medicine (EUSTM) invites experienced professionals to apply for voluntary appointments across its advisory and expert structures — the International Scientific Advisory Board, the EUSTM Advisory Committees and the EUSTM Specialist Expert Panels.

Founded in 2013, EUSTM is an independent, non-commercial professional society that unites healthcare, research, and industry to bring scientific discovery closer to the patients who need it. Its boards, committees and expert panels bring together leading professionals from across the field to set educational and professional standards, shape scientific and clinical best practice, develop the society’s positions and consensus statements, and guide its scientific, advisory, and advocacy work worldwide.

Who Should Apply

From Bench to Bedside to Community

Translational medicine succeeds when expertise from every part of the healthcare and life-science ecosystem works together. EUSTM particularly welcomes applications from:

Bench-Side Researchers

Laboratory, preclinical and translational researchers, biomedical and life-science scientists, data scientists and bioinformaticians working in diagnostics, therapeutics, biomarkers and medical technologies.

Bedside Clinicians

Physicians, surgeons, nurses, pharmacists, allied health professionals and other professionals from all clinical specialties directly involved in patient care.

Community Health Professionals

Primary-care, public-health and population-health professionals, community healthcare leaders, epidemiologists and specialists in prevention, health promotion, access and implementation.

Industry Professionals

Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical-device, diagnostics, digital-health and contract-research professionals, including medical affairs, clinical development, market access, quality, safety and compliance.

Regulatory Professionals

Regulatory-affairs specialists, medicines and medical-device regulators, pharmacovigilance and drug-safety professionals, and experts in health policy, accreditation and quality standards.

By connecting these perspectives, EUSTM aims to strengthen the complete pathway from scientific discovery and clinical development to patient care and community impact.

Requirements

Eligibility & Active Affiliation

EUSTM welcomes applications from experienced professionals across the clinical, scientific, academic, industry and healthcare disciplines served by the Society.

Members of the International Scientific Advisory Board, Advisory Committees and Specialist Expert Panels are expected to:

  • Demonstrate relevant professional qualifications, experience and subject-matter expertise.
  • Maintain active EUSTM individual membership throughout their appointment.

Applicants who are not yet EUSTM members or certified professionals are welcome to apply. Where an applicant is selected, the appointment may initially be offered on a provisional basis, allowing the membership and certification requirements to be completed after selection.
