EUSTM’s Centre of Excellence Specialist Centre Scope is designed for standalone or clearly defined specialist facilities, including IVF and fertility clinics, oncology centres, dialysis services, diagnostic-imaging centres, rehabilitation centres and day-surgery facilities. Assessment is proportionate to the centre’s services, risks, scale and regulatory context and applies the relevant domains within the six-domain framework. Research and Translational Medicine is assessed only where it forms part of the requested designation.
